She is known for her signature blonde locks that tumble down all the way down her body, almost to her hips.
But it appears that Amanda Seyfried was looking for a change as the actress had lopped off her flowing tresses for a much shorter style.
The 25-year-old actress showed off her new hairstyle as she took her beloved dog for a walk and picked up a iced-coffee and a pastry at a cafe in West Hollywood on the weekend.

Dressing for the warm Californian climate, Seyfried slipped her tiny frame into some mini shorts and a white vest.
She accessorised with a Chanel handbag, black wayfarers and some bright red sandals.
The big change also comes after Seyfried split with her boyfriend Ryan Phillippe, earlier this month.
Seyfried parted ways with Phillippe at the beginning of June, just weeks before the Lincoln Lawyer star's ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp is due to give birth to his baby.

The couple, who met at Kate Hudson's Halloween party last October, had weathered the news that Knapp was pregnant by Phillippe but the pressure became too much and they have now split for good, according to Us Weekly.
Her ex was only just last week spotted with the model as they picked up some drinks at Coffee Bean.
Seyfried hasn't however seemed too heart-broken about the split.

Just two weeks later she was spotted out again with ex-boyfriend Dominic Cooper whom she had dated from 2008 to 2010.
Seyfried and Cooper, 32, met on the set of Mamma Mia in 2008 and dated for the next two years.
Now the former love birds seem to be back reunited as they went shopping together in Beverly Hills last weekend.

The Jennifer's Body star recently told U.S. Elle magazine that the handsome actor broke her heart first time around.
'I got my heart broken pretty hard,' she revealed. 'After that, it's really hard to open myself up to a new person. Really hard.'
While Seyfried was head over heels for the older man, Cooper was still involved with someone else.
'I was just kind of foolishly thinking that the two of them were done and Dom and I were involved.'
