Brighton and Bournemouth footballers in sex assault inquiry

Five Brighton and Hove Albion footballers and an AFC Bournemouth player have been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman.
Sussex Police said five men from Brighton and one from Dorset were being questioned about an attack in July.
The force said an 18-year-old man, a 19-year-old, two men aged 20 and one aged 24, all from Brighton, and a 20-year-old from Dorset had been arrested.

Eastman Kodak files for bankruptcy protection

Eastman Kodak, the company that invented the hand-held camera, has filed for bankruptcy protection.
The move gives the company time to reorganise itself without facing its creditors, and Kodak said that it would mean business as normal for customers.
The company has recently moved away from cameras to refocus on making printers, to stem falling profits.
The 133-year-old firm has struggled to keep up with competitors who were quicker to adapt to the digital era.

Trong điện ảnh, “bom tấn” thường dùng để chỉ những tác phẩm có kinh phí cao, hình ảnh hoành tráng, đạo diễn, diễn viên nổi tiếng và được số đông khán giả quan tâm từ trước khi ra rạp. Năm ngoái, khi Thiên mệnh anh hùng của đạo diễn Victor Vũ công bố teaser đầu tiên với những hình ảnh tráng lệ và con số kinh phí 25 tỷ đồng, tác phẩm đã được đông đảo người yêu điện ảnh Việt Nam quan tâm và mong chờ nhất trong dịp Tết năm nay. Phim còn thuộc thể loại kiếm hiệp, cổ trang - một dòng phim mà từ trước tới nay, nhiều đạo diễn rất thích khám phá nhưng chưa có một tác phẩm nào đủ chất lượng để thu hút khán giả.

Mùa Xuân Ả Rập gây choáng váng cho các chế độ ở Trung Đông nhưng cũng tạo ra thách thức lớn nhất từ 20 năm qua cho các chính quyền độc đoán ở châu Á, theo đánh giá của cơ quan giám sát dân chủ Freedom House.
Nhưng cũng vì thế, trong phản ứng tự vệ, nhiều chế độ ra tay trấn áp các tiếng nói đối kháng, khiến xu hướng dân chủ có vẻ bị xuống thế.

　大阪のダブル選で当選した橋下徹氏が大阪市長に就任し、１９日で１カ月となる。中田宏・前横浜市長を区政改革統括の特別顧問に起用したのをはじめ、組織や幹部人事を大幅に刷新。職員の総人件費の２割カットを打ち出すとともに、市職員労働組合には「庁舎内での政治活動は一切認めない」として市庁舎にある事務所の退去を求めた。就任前から精力的に動いた橋下市長の方向性と仕事の進み具合をどう評価するか。
