Out with curvy, in with Twiggy. In the late '60s, the “the skinny model” look hit the London scene. Born Lesley Hornby, Twiggy got her nickname because of her twig-like figure. At 5 feet, 6 inches tall, Twiggy measured in at 32-23-32 at the peak of her modeling career. Twiggy has said, “I'm not as skinny as I used to be, thank God. I'd look very strange if I was.”
