Jodie Fisher is best known for her involvement in thesexual harassment scandal with former Hewlett Packard (HP) CEO Mark Hurd. In June 2010, a letter authored by Jodie Fisher's lawyer, Gloria Allred was sent to HP's board. It is said in the letter that Mark Hurd made sexual advances for years on Jodie Fisher before finally cutting her work with his company.The company's board said its own investigation did not find any evidences of harassment but it blamed Hurd of inappropriately using company funds to take Fisher to dinner at non-HP events. As a result, the scandal led Hurd to his departure from HP CEO.
Jodie Fisher is an American actress and reality TV star. She was born on 17 July, 1960 in Dallas and graduated from Texas Tech University.
Jodie Fisher and Mark Hurd first met in 2007 when Hurd's manager Caprice Fimbres suggested that a reality star be made Hewlett-Packard's host for several executive events.After attending an event in Atlanta, Jodie Fisher was hired by HP. She worked as a marketing support consultant for the company from 2007 to 2009.
Jodie Fisher was paid up to $5,000 per event to greet people and make introductions among among the event's attendees, acting as a social coordinator.However the relationship between Mark Hurk and Fisher came to an end last year. Mark Hurk was blamed for sexual harassment toward Fisher in a letter by Fisher's lawyer, Gloria Allred in June 24, 2010
Allred said in the letter "It is clear you had designs to make her your lover from the onset using your status and authority as CEO of HP and HP monies expecting her to be with you"

This Friday, December 30, 2011, the 8-page letter by celebrities lawyer Gloria Allred was made public inspite of Mark Hurd’s strong objections. Hurd and Jodie Fisher herself said that the letter contained many inaccuracies.
The letter claims that over two years, Hurd pushed Fisher to meet him for dinner, give him hugs, sleep in his room and have sex with him, despite her continuous rejections
After the scandal, it seemed Jodie Fisher’s career was over. But this winter she was a guest cameo in "NCIS: Los Angeles," playing a woman named Emma White in an episode about a former Navy Intelligence officer who turns out to be living an illegal double life
